HitmanPro found windows.exe. (ALSO; my other problems?)

    Hello fellow sevenforum users!
I'm new to the forum so um, hello.
(I'm so sorry, I couldn't find out where to put this...)

Anyway, I'll get to the point.
So I downloaded something (...I really can't remember, but if needed, I'll try to remember!)
And I ran it, I didn't expect it to give me viruses!
    I removed MOST of them.
But the one I can't seem to uninstall is BrowseForTheCause ... It won't uninstall! (It'll show the message in the attachments.

    I've tried safe mode.
    And everything..

    As for my other problem.
HitmanPro found Windows.exe in my Documents.
    ...Windows.exe .... in my documents...

It's most likely a virus right?
The log is also in attachments.

    Ehh....
    I'll also show the things it found;

    HITMANPRO found:
    ----------------------------------------------
    snsv84ED.tmp (Trojan)
rnsq851D.exe (Riskware) (what is a riskware...?)
    onsq851E.tmp (Trojan)
    windows.exe (Suspicious)
    ads.servebom.com (Tracking Cookie)
    doubleclick.net (Tracking Cookie)
    ru4.com (Tracking Cookie)
    statcounter.com (Tracking Cookie)
    xiti.com (Tracking Cookie)
    ----------------------------------------------

I'm really bad at explaining things. So sorry if it is all over the place.

I'd first run MBAM (free version), letting it fix anything it finds....

Also go to bleepingcomputer.com, go to downloads, find JRT (junkware Removal Tool), and download/run it....

Then recheck with Hitman Pro; you can trial activate it and clean system for up to 30 days if necessary.

    JRT couldn't install.
    I'm running MBAM.

It's taking a really, really long time though.

Have patience when scanning. Alternately you can try to upload the detected files in the online virus scanner sites to see what kind of detection other than HMP (Bitdefender and KasperskyLabs) sees.

    VirusTotal https://www.virustotal.com/en/

    Jotti's malware scan https://virusscan.jotti.org/en

    OPSWAT https://www.metascan-online.com/#scan-file

Here is the official Hitman Pro Support and Discussion Thread at Wilderssecurity

I do not know if Victor Van Hillo (Software Architect) is still with Surfright but he has helped me with an issue way way back when HMP was just starting. I sent an email to support@hitmanpro.com. He replied and even gave me a free 6 month license to use :)

JRT 'could not install' ? (sometimes IE or your antivirus might block it's download, suspend your AV if necessary, and run JRT as an administrator...)
