Change icons in save as dialog

Hey guys, i couldn't find anything remotely close to what i was after, but is there a way to change the icons for Library's and Desktop options in the Open/Save/Save As dialog boxes?? And to get rid of the Recent items as well?

Picture enclosed, explains what i mean.

EDIT: I was thinking possibly something in the Explorerframe.dll that i'd need to edit. Just a thought.

    Thanks (:

I'm not sure about changing the icons, but you can change the locations on the place bar using this small application. It works in 7

    Hi Uber! Nice Avatar, man!
I can change the Desktop icon in that box. In tuneup utilities, Open tuneup styler > system elements > Desktop > Change it to (token? I almost sure; they are nic!) your icon and apply.

Hope the explorer icon changing may be found shortly, but about the recent place icon, I know nothing

Edit : You havent changed the live folders to token ? I want to know, can you do it? Then please help me.

Live folders means a folder out of which a hint of its content is peeping out :) . Using your image to display it.... please dont mind
There is a way that you can change those without installing anything. You just have to use Resource Hacker (you know it need not to be installed). Open imageres.dll in resource hacker; in icon group menu, replace the appropriate icon number with the desired one.

But how to know the appropriate icon number without having any third party software, I really dont know

Edit : I am successful to change live folder icon mission already. Thanks to my friend NEXTLOVER

Can't change all icons with TuneUp 2010 icon packages.

    Hi Arc,

I just joined the 7 Forums yesterday. I'm having a problem with changing desktop and other icons with icon packages from TuneUp Utilities 2010 (Windows 7). When I apply an icon package, not all the icons change. I've attached a pic of my desktop. Note the six yellow "live folders" that didn't change to the LK icon package. What can I do to make them change? Please help if you can. (I didn't have this problem with Windows XP.)
