BSODs on Startup / Startup Failures / Comp Starts Every Other Time

    Hi sevenforums,

I have a three year old custom built desktop. Specs are as follows:

    Operating System
    Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit SP1
    CPU
    Intel Core i7 3770K @ 3.50GHz
    RAM
    32.0GB Dual-Channel DDR3 @ 927MHz (10-11-10-27)
    Motherboard
ASUSTeK COMPUTER INC. P8Z77-V DELUXE (LGA1155)
    Graphics
4095MB NVIDIA GeForce GTX 680 (EVGA)
    Storage
    2794GB Seagate ST3000DM001-9YN166 (SATA) 94 °F
    3726GB Western Digital WDC WD4003FZEX-00Z4SA0 (SATA) 99 °F
223GB INTEL SS DSC2CW240A3 SCSI Disk Device (SSD)
    Optical Drives
    ASUS BC-12B1ST
    Audio
    ASUS XONAR PHOEBUS Audio Device

I was getting the odd "Page fault in non-paged area" BSOD about once a month. I also had another issue where the computer would hang on startups after the windows splash to a black screen with only my mouse cursor. This would cause me to hard reset. Due to Occam's razor I attributed both the BSODs and the inability for my computer to load on every other startup to the same error.

I googled this issue and noticed it was related to messed up ram. This prompted me to run memtest86 last week. Memtest86 returned dozens of errors after going through 4 passes. Because of this I RMA'd the RAM.

Today I installed the new RAM. I have not seen a "page fault in non paged area" bsod as of yet, but they usually took time to show up (>1 week of computer usage).

After installing the new RAM, I began having numerous startup issues and a new blue screen.

The computer began hanging at the "welcome" screen, again only on every other startup. On another startup I received a 0x00000C5 BSOD immediately after putting in my login credentials. On yet another startup, I got hungup to a black screen prior to entering my credentials. Finally, on another startup, I entered into my desktop page, however, I was unable to open anything such as computer, control panel, etc. I had to hard reset from this state again. When I would open something such as control panel I would receive an error message stating application can not be opened.

With each of these screwed up startups, I had one clean normal startup in between which has only puzzled me even more.

Starting up to safe mode boots properly. I have disabled all startup programs via msconfig, but the problems persisted.

I uninstalled Asus AI Suite II today, however it does not appear to have changed anything.

I attempted to run windows startup repair, but it stated it did not find errors to repair. There are no restore points created whatsoever, even though I have system protection set to "on" for local disk C. I created one now, but this restore point would have the current issues within it.

I will be running memtest86 again tonight to verify my RMA ram is fine.

Any help is greatly appreciated. I have attached my DM Log.

    Memtest86 results

Ran Memtest86 overnight with the brand new RAM. Received repeat failures of the hammer test. Any ideas as to why new ram would do this? Also, how would I fix this? Summary attached below.
